Dysautonomia is an umbrella term for multiple conditions related to Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction eg. Orthostatic Hypotension [OH), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), Tachycardia, Mitral Valve Prolapse, Swelling, Raynaud’s, Excessive Sweating, Temperature intolerance, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Mental Fog, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme disease, Adrenal & Thyroid Insufficiency, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Nausea, Bloating, Interstitial Cystitis, Medication Sensitivity, Allergies, Asthma, Mast Cell Activation Disorder [MCAD], Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, Hyperflexible joints [Ehlers Danlos Syndrome], Easy bruisability, etc.
The Autonomic Nervous System (the main control system of all the body’s organ systems) functions erratically. The patient will appear to be outwardly healthy but transient ANS (Autonomic Nervous System) dysfunction may cause sudden dizziness, passing out, profound weakness, severe blood pressure and heart rate fluctuation, temperature intolerance, shaking / shivering, breathlessness, chest discomfort, head and body pain, inattention, poor memory, concentration difficulty, anxiety, severe fatigue, etc.

Dr. Jacques Courseault, MD,CAQSM
Medical Director
Dr. Jacques Courseault is the Founder and Medical Director of The Fascia Institute and Treatment Center. He is a Sports Medicine physician with over 10 years of ultrasound expertise and is a pioneer in fascia treatment and hydrodissection. He developed the Hydrofascial Release and Fascial Mapping procedures and is the first to publish on fascial hydrodissection for chronic hamstring injuries. Hydrofascial Release is beneficial for many soft tissue injuries that are non-surgical. Dr. Courseault served multiple schools and universities as a team physician including Louisiana State University, Tulane University, Southern University, Loyola University and many local high schools. He is currently a consultant for various NFL and collegiate teams, and treats current and former professional athletes.
Dr. Paul C. Kramm, MD Medical Advisor
Dr. Paul Kramm, MD is a pain medicine physician in Baton Rouge, LA and has over 36 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA / SAINT PAUL CAMPUS in 1987. He is affiliated with medical facilities such as Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and Rapides Regional Medical Center. He is accepting new patients and telehealth appointments.
